In Math Module of SAT Examination, there are two sections. The Candidate is not allowed to use the calculator in the first section but in second section, one can use the calculator. The first section contains 20 marks. It consists of 15 multiple choice questions and 5 Grid-Ins. Candidate should complete the first section within 25 minutes. In the second section, Candidates are allowed to operate the calculator and totally 38 marks are allotted for it. Here, 8 grid INS and 30 multiple choice questions. Within 55 minutes, the candidate has to complete all the questions in second section. Total number of questions is 58 and total time limit is 80 minutes.
Math Module of SAT consists of three prominent types of questions, such as
- Data analysis and problem solving
- Advanced Math
- Algebra
These three contain 90% of SAT math and you must concentrate on these topics to get good score. Remaining 10% is all about complex numbers, trigonometry and geometry. You can score well when you practice tests based on these topics. A Candidate feels difficult to solve the questions when he/she is tensed, so relax your mind and never allow the concentration to get diverted when you solve problems in mock tests as well as in the exam. Work out each and everything in your notes and have the habit of revising frequently get rid of fear of problems when you face the examination.
