GMAT is a computer based Test. It assesses the ability of the studentâs difficulty level of the next question which always depends on the response to the previous question. GMAT is focused on evaluating oneâs skill required for business school. It consists of four sections: Analytical Writing, integrated Reasoning, quantitative Reasoning and verbal Reasoning. GMAT is a 3 hours and 7 minutes and comprised of 80 questions. Exam fee of GMAT is 280 US Dollars. Overall score of the exam ranged of 200-800
ANALYTICAL WRITING
In this section has one question on essay writing to make an argument on that with evidence. This question can be general one and also related to subjects of business or other subjects.
INTEGRATED REASONING
This section has 12 questions and each response more than one response
- This section has section such as Multi-Source Reasoning: examine data given in the form of texts, tables, graphics or a combination of all three
- Table Analysis: analyze and sort tabular data similar to spreadsheets to solve the questions
- Graphics Interpretation: interpret data represented as graphs â bar graphs, pie charts, statistical curves, etc.
- Two-Part Analysis: complex questions on quantitative or verbal or a combination of both
Quantitative reasoning- this section has 31 questions form mathematics and there are two types of questions
- Problem Solving: solve general mathematics questions and pick the answer from the given 5 options
- Data Sufficiency: analyze the quantitative problem and use the data given in the form of two statements to deduce the best answer
VERBAL REASONING
This section has 36 questions regarding English. This main aim to test candidates English comprehend level and also sections like reading comprehension, critical reasoning, sentence corrections and MCQs.
Analytical Writing Assessment
Each AWA essay is scored at least twice. Once it is evaluated by a human reader and once by an automated essay-scoring engine. The scores obtained by the multiple assessments are averaged into one section score. Scores for the AWA range from 0 to 6 in half-point intervals.
INTEGRATED REASONING SCORE
A test taker has to answer all the questions correctly in order to score for that particular question.
